Majlisi namoyandagon approved amendments to the law “On the responsibility of parents for education and upbringing of children”
Dushanbe, 28.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). – The deputies of Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan passed the draft of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the responsibility of parents for education and upbringing of children” that was proposed by the Government of the country.
According to the press center of the Parliament, in his speech on this issue, the deputy Abduhalim Ghafforov noted that the essence of the amendments is as follows: Internet-providers of the country are obliged at the request of the parents to provide them with free information on visit of their children to various sites on the Internet.
These amendments are aimed to protect children from falling into the ranks of terrorist and extremist organizations, as well as to their protection against violence.
