PM Qohir Rasulzoda got acquainted with the activity of Takob mining and processing plant
Dushanbe, 08.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda on January 7 got acquainted with the activity of OJSC “Takob mining and processing plant” in Varzob district.
Currently, on the basis of this enterprise is being built mining and processing factory for the production of fluorite ore, lead and mercury. For this aim the factory is equipped with the appropriate equipment that is at the stage of testing. Fluorite ore is used in production as raw material for the production of cryolite that is required for aluminum production. It was noted that at present production capacity of enterprise is 30 thousand tons of fluorite ore per year.
The Prime Minister has instructed the responsible persons to take measures for the speedy establishment of production of fluorite ore for using of this kind of raw material in industry.
