Opening of the HRC Representative Office in Russia
Dushanbe, 08.02.2016. (NIAT «Khovar»). - «In order to protect the rights and interests of citizens and labor migrants of Tajikistan outside the country, including in territory of the Russian Federation the Human Rights Commissioner (HRC) of the Republic of Tajikistan has opened its representative office in Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation on a pilot basis», — said during the press conference the Commissioner for Human Rights in Tajikistan Zarif Alizoda.
Speaking about international cooperation, Z. Alizoda noted that in 2015, the HRC has expanded its cooperation with the state bodies of Tajikistan, international partners (Authorized on human rights in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Finland, Norway), as well as with such international and national organizations, as the UNDP, UNICEF, OSCE, EU, the Swiss Agency for cooperation and development, Helvetas, Danish Institute for human rights and others.
