Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister meets Director of Executive Committee of SCO RATS
Dushanbe, 17.02.2016 (NIAT «Khovar») .- Shortly following taking his office, Yevgeniy Sysoyev, the Director of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS) held a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Mahmadsharif Haqdod.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides exchanged views on regional cooperation within the framework of SCO RATS, including the issues related to providing security within the SCO area of responsibility.
They noted with satisfaction that legal foundation and mechanisms of cooperation between the SCO member states in combating the three evils (terrorism, separatism and religious extremism) are being improved year by year.
