Deputy FM Zohidi Meets UN Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Opinion and Expression
Dushanbe, 04.03.2016. (NIAT «Khovar»). — The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi, met here on Thursday with the UN Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression David Kaye.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the issues related to observance human rights in Tajikistan, including the right to freedom of opinion and expression have been considered within the special talks.
They reportedly confirmed the significance of expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights(OHCHR).
