Death toll of Ecuador quake rises to 587
Dushanbe, 22.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ecuador’s Prosecutor’s Office reported that the death toll of the devastating earthquake has reached 587.
At least 27 foreigners from various countries were among the dead.
The latest report of victims, issued at 4 p.m. local time, said 539 of the victims have been identified and claimed by their families, while the identities of 48 of the bodies are still being investigated.
