Dushanbe, 27.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon today also in Norak city attended and opened in a solemn ceremony the secondary educational institution №28.

It should be recalled that in the course of his working visit to Nurek city on August 13, 2013, President of the Republic of Tajikistan at Rudaki Street laid the cornerstone for the construction of this school.

The 40 million TJS School was built through the Chinese grant assistance.

Construction works have been started by the contractor of the company «Ents Zien» of China on June 6, 2014 and were finished on December 6, 2015.

The school consists of three floors and accommodates 1220 students in two shifts.

The school building includes 22 classes, 8 subject cabinets, including a language laboratory and information technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology, as well as reading and music rooms, a complex of sports fields for football with 700 seats, tennis court, volleyball and basketball pitch, a dining room with 120 seats, library and medical center.

After the inauguration of the school in its spacious classrooms, President Emomali Rahmon spoke with happy students who, through the Leader of the Nation, received such a large and excellent school.

Head of state admonished students to study contemporary sciences, computer technologies and foreign languages.

Students, in their turn, in response to such care promised to study well.

The school also has separate electricity and heating systems, fire protection, and communication line with a special control system. Equipment of subject classrooms and dining room were purchased at the expense of the local executive body of the city of Nurek and meet all necessary requirements.

With putting into operation of the school it will provide 80 teachers and a variety of technical workers with jobs. Experienced teachers will be recruited on a competitive basis.

After getting familiarized with the conditions of education at the new school, the head of state has also held sincere conversation with the school teachers and the city activists.
