Ambassador of Tajikistan presented copies of his credentials to Uzbek foreign minister
Dushanbe, 21.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Sodiq Imomi, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan presented copies of his credentials to the Uzbek Minister of Foreign Affairs Aldulaziz Kamilov.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, following the ceremony, Uzbek foreign minister welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan and congratulated Ambassador on his appointment and expressed belief that the mutual relations between the two brotherly peoples and states would further develop.
The sides exchanged views on the practical aspects of the participation of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the upcoming Meeting of the Council of the Heads of the SCO Member States in Tashkent.
During the conversation also a number of topical issues of the bilateral and regional agenda were discussed.
