Cyprus’ elections winning Democratic Rally to have 19 seats in parliament — TV
Dushanbe, 23.05.2016 / NIAT “Khovar” /.Cyprus’ Democratic Rally party, which won Sunday’s parliamentary elections with 30.69% of votes, will have 19 seats in the 56-seat parliament, SigmaLive TV said.
The leading opposition party, the Progressive Party of Working People, will have 15 seats, and the Democratic Party, which finished third, will take nine seats.
According to the election results, eight parties have won seats in the parliament. Along with the above three, the parliament will have representatives of the following parties: Movement for Social Democracy (three seats), Citizens’ Alliance (three seats), Solidarity Movement (three seats), Creen Party (two seats), and National Popular Front (two seats).
