Tajik – Kyrgyz Prime Ministers discuss intergovernmental cooperation
Dushanbe, 12.05.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda yesterday has met with the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov here in Dushanbe.
During the meeting the issues of intergovernmental cooperation of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the spheres of trade and economy, energy, transport, education and culture have been discussed.
It was stressed that Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have a common position and view on many regional issues, including in the field of efficient use of water resources, security and border security, as well as make a lot of efforts to further improve cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.
The parties confirmed their willingness and interest to strengthen cross-border cooperation, particularly in the improvement of cross-border trade indicators.
We will remind that the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov arrived here in Dushanbe to attend the official launching ceremony of CASA – 1000 project that will be held today.
