30 killed, 53 wounded in Kabul suicide attack
Dushanbe, 30.06.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The death toll in the major suicide attack on the outskirts of Kabul has risen to 30. A further 53 people have been wounded, TOLOnews reports quoting the Ministry of the Interior of Afghanistan.
The incident happened when a police convoy was attacked in two-pronged explosions. According to TOLOnews, the explosion occurred inside the police bus.
The convoy was on its way from Wardak province to Kabul on Thursday afternoon when it was hit, officials said.
The attack took place in the Qala-e-Haidar Khan village of the Company area in Kabul city.
The convoy transported newly graduated police officers from Wardak to Kabul.
