Tajik – Russian inter-parliamentary relations achieved new level
Dushanbe, 07.07.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The First Deputy Chairman of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli /Upper House of Parliament/ of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahmon Kodiri and the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Yevgeny Bushmin held the sixth meeting of the Commission on cooperation of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on July 5 in Moscow. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia.
During the meeting the parties have discussed the work plan of the Commission for the second half of the current year and approved the membership of the Tajik and Russian parts of the Commission.
In addition, the participants of the meeting exchanged views on the implementation of the work plan of the Commission for the period after the fifth meeting, which was held on November 12 last year.
During the meeting it was decided that the fifth international forum “Russia-Tajikistan: potential of interregional cooperation” will be held in October 2016 in Dushanbe.
