Leader of the Nation signed an amnesty law
Dushanbe, 24.08.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon signed the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Amnesty» passed by Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the document, this decision was made «on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, in line with principles of charity and humanism».
The act provides for amnesty of persons who committed crimes prior to the day of finding them unenforceable.
