Prospects of Tajikistan-IOM cooperation discussed in Dushanbe
Dushanbe, 25.08.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslovon Wednesday, August 24, 2016 held a meeting with the Regional Director of the representative office of the International organization for migration (IOM) for the countries of Eastern Europe, South-East and Central Asia Argentina Sabadosh.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides discussed current state and prospects of cooperation of Tajikistan and IOM in the field of migration, implementation of joint programs and projects and future plans of the organization in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The sides have also exchanged views on the regulation of labor migration, including the rights and obligations of migrant workers and their social protection.
