Tajik Ambassador to Pakistan Participates in the 3rd International Conference on Water Security and Sustainable Growth
Dushanbe, 27.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan, Sherali Jononov, has participated in the 3rd International Conference on Water Security and Sustainable Growth in Islamabad which was organized by the Ministry of planning, development and reform of Pakistan jointly with the Pakistan Council of Researches in Water Resources and the International University of Haripur.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the Conference Ambassador addressed participant about the international initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity- the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon in the field of water cooperation, the contribution of the Republic of Tajikistan in the global issues of water resources management and international events.
The Federal Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ahsan Iqbal, representatives of scientific circles and public organizations also made speeches in this international conference.
