Prospects of Tajikistan-Turkey economic cooperation discussed in Istanbul
On September 22, 2016 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan had talks with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Yildirim Tugrul Turkesh, Co-Сhairman of the Joint Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides discussed current state and prospects of economic cooperation, the ways of their development, as well as the conducting of the next meeting of the Joint Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and other issues of mutual interests.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation and underlined the existence of untapped opportunities for further development of practical cooperation between the two countries. During the talks was stressed the important role of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic cooperation in this process.
