Open Doors Day at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan
Dushanbe, 07.10.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan held an Open Doors Day as part of the Dialogue «Central Asia + Japan Dialogue». The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, together with other foreign embassies.
According to Tajik MFA Information Department, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Hamrokhon Zarifi in his welcoming remarks noted the importance of the event by which the people of Japan have an excellent opportunity to become closely acquainted with ancient history, rich culture, art, customs and traditions of the Tajik people, as well as tourism opportunities of Tajikistan. Conducting Open Doors Days is a laudable initiative of the organizers, because such activities would bring together the people of the two countries and strengthen the existing friendly relations.
Embassy provided visitors with comprehensive information about Tajikistan, numerous brochures, an exhibition of arts and crafts of the Tajik people, colorful photo albums were displayed, and a film about the notable achievements of the country during the independence, including in the field of tourism was shown.
During the event, Embassy staff gave detailed responses to the questions of visitors who showed a keen interest in the information provided, as well as a thorough exchange of views on the received useful information about Tajikistan was held.
