Tajikistan delegation attended the plenary session of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings
Dushanbe, 10.10.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Finance Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdusalom Qurboniyon and Chairman of the National Bank Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda on October 7 took part at the annual plenary session of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings, MFA Information Department reports.
During the plenary session World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde addressed on issues of global concern, including the world economy outlook, poverty reduction, economic development and aid effectiveness.
The Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund will be continued till October 11, 2016 and include regional briefings, press conferences and other events focused on the global economy, international development and the world`s financial system.
