Tajikistan, Latvia discuss trade and economic cooperation
Dushanbe, 20.10.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Umed Davlatzod and Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Bondars (with residence in Tashkent) have discussed the issues of trade and economic cooperation, industry and hydropower development, investment attraction, production and export of agricultural products and transport here in Dushanbe, the press service of the Ministry reports.
According to the source, during the meeting the parties have touched upon the holding of the next session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical cooperation.
We recall that diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Latvia were established on 11 May 1994.
