Ambassador Hamrokhon Zarifi at Tokyo University told about achievements of Tajikisran
Dushanbe, 18.11.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 16 at the invitation of the University of Tokyo Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Hamrokhon Zarifi visited the University of Tokyo, where he met with the faculty members and students, MFA Information Department reported.
“Ambassador of Tajikistan delivered lecture to the gathered audience, in which he told in details about the difficulties of the process of establishing peace, stability and national accord in Tajikistan, and the formation of a successive strengthening of the statehood and sovereignty of the country. In his speech, he pointed out the current achievements of the country in the international arena and its place in the contemporary world, through the “Open Doors Policy” under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, important initiatives voiced from the high international tribunes, and implementation of national and regional projects in Tajikistan”, — stated the message.
According to a source, Ambassador of Tajikistan also spoke in detail about the state and prospects of Tajik-Japanese relations.
“During the meeting the students of the University of Tokyo made welcoming speeches in Tajik language and did presentations on the process of gaining the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is the crucial achievement of the modern history of Tajikistan”, — concluded source.
After the presentation, the Ambassador comprehensively answered all questions of the participants.
As the part of this event a book exhibition was organized on the occasion of the President’s Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, where books of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon were exhibited, as well as other publications on the famous ancient history and culture of the Tajik people.
At the end, Tajik diplomat presented to the library of the University of Tokyo books of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and other publications on literature and the history of modern Tajikistan for the research works of the students.
