Finance, economic affairs to be high on agenda of SCO prime ministers’ meeting in Bishkek
Dushanbe, 01.11.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Prime Ministers will meet in Bishkek on November 3 to discuss economic cooperation issues.
The 15th meeting of the SCO Council of Prime Ministers «will mostly address economic matters. For instance, the Council is due to approve the 2017 SCO budget and the 2015 financial report and to consider a number of financial and economic documents, such as a list of projects for 2017-2021,» SCO Kyrgyz coordinator Gulkair Balbayeva told a press conference on Monday.
The list comprises projects in the areas of trade, the economy, finance and banking cooperation, infrastructural development and environmental protection, she said.
The acting Kyrgyz prime minister, the prime ministers of Kazakhstan, Russia, China and Tajikistan, and Uzbek First Deputy Prime Minister will participate in the meeting, the national coordinator said.
