Meetings of Qohir Rasulzoda on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Council of heads of governments – Prime Ministers of the SCO Member States
Dushanbe, 03.11.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prime Minister of the country Qohir Rasulzoda in order to attend the 15th session of the Council of heads of governments — Prime Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States on November 2 left for Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
Within the framework of his working visit to Bishkek Qohir Rasulzoda has met with the Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India Mobasshar Javed Akbar. During the meeting the current state and prospects of intergovernmental relations between Tajikistan and India in the fields of mutual interest have been discussed. The sides have expressed their readiness and interest to strengthen multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
The Prime Minister of the country also held a meeting with the Chairman of the Executive Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah. The parties have discussed the issues related to trade — economic cooperation and joint integration in the fields of transport and energy in the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on trade — economic cooperation. The special attention has been paid to the issues of joint participation in the implementation of major construction projects of railroads and energy facilities. At the meeting the issues related to strengthening the fight against international terrorism, extremism and illegal drug trafficking have also been discussed.
