Tajikistan Delegation attended the Jubilee Cooperation Forum “Republic of Korea and Central Asia”
Dushanbe, 18.11.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The jubilee 10th session of Cooperation Forum of the Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries, which was attended by the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by Nizomiddin Zohidi, the First Deputy Foreign Minister, was held in Seoul.
As part of the special session, the participants discussed the results of ten-year activities of the Forum and outlined the ways of further cooperation.
There also were three thematic sessions, which focused on the issues such as e-government, smart-farm and dialogue of new generation of Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea.
The participants endorsed the establishment of the Secretariat of the Cooperation Forum of the Republic of Korea and Central Asia and approved the representative of the Republic of Korea as an Executive Director of the Secretariat for the next three years. They have also approved the regulation of the activities and work plan of the Forum Secretariat in 2017.
The Forum concluded with the passing of the Joint Declaration.
