Foreign Minister Aslov attends the working meeting of the CSTO ministers in Hamburg
DUSHANBE, 09.12.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Sirodjidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, has participated in the working meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) held on margins of the 23rd OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Hamburg, Germany, MFA Information Department says.
“During the meeting, the parties have exchanged views on the different items of the Agenda of the OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting, as well as other issues of the mutual interest, including the implementation of the decisions of the CSTO Heads of State”, — notes the source.
According to message of the ministry, the ministers have also agreed and adopted a draft Joint Statement of the ministers of foreign affairs of the CSTO member states entitled “On improving the efficiency of the OSCE in the system of common European security”. By proposal of Tajikistan an additional item on condemnation of participation of criminal persons and groups in the OSCE event was included to the document. The necessity of planning of the activity of the OSCE field presences based exclusively on the needs, requirements and priorities of host countries was also reflected in the joint statement.
