Tajikistan was visited by 312 thousand 602 foreign tourists in 2016
DUSHANBE, 12.01.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. “According to statistic data, for the 9 months of 2016 the country was visited by 312 thousand 602 foreign citizens that is more than 72 thousand 36 persons compared to 2015”, — said to journalists the Chairman of Committee for Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Ahtam Abdullozoda.
According to him, the 312 thousand 602 foreign tourists have brought income to the country’s economy in the amount of 156 million 301 thousand USD that is more than 36 million 18 thousand dollars compared to 2015.
