Tajik – French bilateral cultural cooperation discussed in Paris
DUSHANBE, 14.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Ambassador of Republic of Tajikistan in France on Monday February 13 has met with the leadership of the Ministry of Culture and Communication of the French Republic, Mme. Emilie Cariou, Advisor for European, International and Digital Affairs and M. Henri d’Almeida, Project manager of the Department of European and International Affairs in order to present the culture of the people of Tajikistan. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the French Republic.
According to the Embassy’s statement, during the meeting the issues of bilateral cultural cooperation were discussed. The French side was requested to assist in conducting days of culture, organizing exhibitions of modern Tajik artists in galleries of Paris and other regions of France, as well as the involvement of the National Film Institute of France to create and display Tajik films. Simultaneously, the issue of Tajik students studying in specialized schools in France, particularly in the field of restoration, visual arts, literature and theatrical affairs was also discussed.
It is reported that the meeting was held in a Friendly atmosphere and mutual understanding.
