Deputy FM M. Huseynzoda attended the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries and France
DUSHANBE, 30.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. At the invitation of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Mr. Jean-Marc Ayrault, a meeting of the Foreign Ministers was held on March 29, 2017, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries of Central Asia and France. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Huseynzoda. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in France.
According to the embassy’s message, the parties have discussed the issues of regional and international agenda, as well as considered ways of strengthening and developing relations between the countries of Central Asia and France. As part of the events marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the opening ceremony of the exhibition of archival documents of the French Foreign Ministry took place, reflecting the ways of establishing and developing diplomatic relations between the countries of Central Asia and France.
On the same day, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan M.Huseynzoda had a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development of France, Mr. Jean-Marc Ayrault.
The wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the sphere of politics, economy and trade, environment, water and energy cooperation, as well as in the field of combating extremism and terrorism were discussed at the meeting. It was noted the importance of organising the high-level visits, with the aim of revealing new horizons of cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
