Issues of private sector development discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 16.03.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Yesterday, March 15, the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Sharif Said met with the mission of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Tajikistan, the Program Manager of the Economic Development of Tajikistan Laura Chizm, Regional Project Manager for Competitiveness, Trade and Job Creation Jeff Ride, Specialist on Project Management of Economic Development Department of USAID in Tajikistan Tojiddin Najmiddinov, Director of the DAI Project of USAID in Tajikistan Parviz Kamolitdinov, Specialist on Management of Programs of the Department of Development Economics Svetlana Golovatskaya here in Dushanbe.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of private sector development, state and prospects of cooperation between the CCI of Tajikistan, USAID mission to improve the business environment and entrepreneurship in the area of increasing the potential of commodity producers of agriculture, particularly fruits and vegetables.
