Tajikistan, UN cooperation discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 20.04.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov on April 19 has received the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan Ms. Pratibha Mehta.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting the issues of current cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations institutions and the perspective of further cooperation were discussed. The parties had also an exchange of views on UNDP projects and programs, being implemented in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Particular attention was given to 25 years of Tajikistan’s membership in the United Nations and holding joint activities dedicated to this significant event.
