Tajikistan to enhance cooperation with Slovak Republic in key areas
Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov met on Thursday with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Lukáš Parízek to discuss current state and further expansion of bilateral cooperation, the Tajik foreign ministry said.
“The sides expressed interest in strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of trade and economy, transport, energy, agriculture, health, education and culture. In this context, the parties highly commended the role of interdepartmental political consultations and business roundtable of the two countries, which took place in November 2016 in Dushanb”, the ministry said.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the cooperation of Tajikistan and Slovakia within the framework of international organizations and on other issues of mutual interest.
