UN Secretary-General António Guterres to visit Central Asia in June
The UN Secretary General António Guterres will visit Central Asia in June, the head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General Petko Draganov announced.
«In the beginning of June, the newly elected Secretary General António Guterres will visit the Central Asian states,» Draganov said. This is the evidence of the great attention paid by the leadership of the United Nations to the region and its willingness to assist in resolving existing problems,» he said.
