Celebrating 20th anniversary of the National Unity Day in Japan
DUSHNABE, 29.06.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On June 25, 2017, in the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan on the marking the 20th anniversary of the National Unity Day, a meeting was held with compatriots living in Japan.
According to the MFA Information Department, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Hamrokhon ZARIFI, congratulating all attendees on the 20th anniversary of the National Unity Day, stressed the importance of this holiday for the people of Tajikistan. The Ambassador particularly noted the invaluable role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Emomali Rahmon in restoring and maintaining peace in the country.
Participants of a meeting were also informed about the main achievements of domestic and foreign policy of Tajikistan during the independence, peculiarities of international politics and a socio-political situation of the certain countries of the world at the present stage. Significant achievements in the field of the bilateral and multilateral relations of Tajikistan and Japan, the perspective areas of cooperation and importance of strengthening of interaction with compatriots in Japan within the framework of the «Club of the Tajik students in Japan» were also noted.
The participants exchanged views on the issue of national unity, which is the basis of peace and stability, the safeguard of the progress and prosperity of the country, and discussed the importance of strengthening and enhancing intra-national bonds of friendship.
