Tajik – Uzbek Interior Ministers held talks as part of the meeting of the CIS CMIA
DUSHANBE, 29.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda has met with his Uzbek counterpart Abdusalom Azizov as part of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS states-participants.
According to the press centre of the Interior Ministry of the country, the parties had an exchange of views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in combating transnational organized crime (terrorism, extremism, and illegal drug trafficking), as well as presented a number of fruitful suggestions.
The holding of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS states — participants contributes to the expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between law enforcement agencies of states and will further strengthen their cooperation.
