Tajikistan Ambassador in France met with compatriots on the eve of the National Unity Day
DUSHANBE, 09.06.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On June 7, 2017 in the city of Lyon, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the French Republic met with citizens and compatriots of Tajikistan residing in and around the city of Lyon. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of Tajikistan in Paris.
The participants, most of whom are young people, were informed in detail about the state youth policy of the country, the implementation of which is one of the key priorities of the government of Tajikistan.
In the meantime, on the eve of celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the signing of the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord in Tajikistan, a difficult path to unity was also described, as well as the key role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E Mr. Emomali Rahmon in unifying all constructive forces of the country, restoring peaceful life and returning refugees to their homeland was highlighted.
As a matter of unification of compatriots abroad and presenting and promoting the Tajik culture and lifestyle, the Ambassador proposed the idea of establishing a Tajik society in Lyon, which was warmly welcomed and supported by those present.
