Actual areas of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNICEF discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 16.08.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met on August 15 with a newly appointed UNICEF Representative in Tajikistan Luciano Calestini.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the conversation, parties have discussed the actual areas of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and UNICEF, and the status of current projects. A particular attention was paid to the implementation of the UNICEF new Country Program for 2016-2020 in Tajikistan, as well as the prospects of further cooperation.
During the meeting, the newly appointed UNICEF Representative in Tajikistan has presented the copy of his Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
