LAS Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit to visit Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 08.08.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit received on August 6 the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Egypt Khusrav Noziri.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting the issues related to the Second Meeting of the Forum on Arab Economic Cooperation with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan which is scheduled to be held in Dushanbe on October 16, 2017 were discussed.
In this regard, it was noted that the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to host the next meeting of the Forum in Dushanbe demonstrates the growing interest of country in further development and expansion of partnership relations with the Arab world.
The Secretary-General of the Arab League accepted with gratitude the official invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan extended to him at the meeting and confirmed his participation in the work of the Dushanbe Forum.
