Tajik Deputy FM attended the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian countries and Afghanistan
DUSHANBE, 13.12.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On December 11, a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian countries and Afghanistan was held in Ashgabat at the initiative of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda took part at the meeting and delivered a speech.
According to the MFA Information Department, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to ensuring peace and stability, as well as strengthening and developing regional cooperation, and adopted the Centre’s Action Plan for 2018-2020. The Action Plan covers five priority areas of the Regional Centre’s activity and is aimed at addressing the issues and threats faced by the countries of Central Asia.
At the end of the meeting participants adopted the Declaration.
