Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany held a number of meetings
DUSHANBE, 22.01.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On January 18, Maliksho Nematov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany, met with Michael Siebert, Head of the Central Asia, Caucasus and Eastern Europe Department at the Federal Foreign Ministry of Germany.
According to the MFA Information Department, the parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Germany, and had a useful exchange of views on priority areas of bilateral cooperation.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan extended the official invitation of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Government of Germany to participate in the High-level conference of the International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” to be held in June 2018 in Dushanbe.
Also, on January 19, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany Maliksho Nematov met with the Director of the Regional Department of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy for Central Asia Mr. Eduard Kinsbruner.
The meeting also discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany, and had an exchange of views on their further development in 2018.
E. Kinsbruner expressed the readiness of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy to cooperate with the Embassy of Tajikistan on organizing presentations of economic and investment opportunities of Tajikistan in the economic and business circles of Germany.
