“Childukhtaron” enchants tourists
DUSHANBE, 29.01.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon in his annual address to the Majlisi Oli of the country on December 22, 2017 announced 2018 as the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development. In this regard, the residents and responsible persons of all cities and districts directed all their efforts to create conditions for the development of this sphere.
In particular, there are a lot of historic sites in Muminobod district. One of them is the “Childukhtaron” /“Forty-girls”/, where there is information on historical sources. The travel of domestic and foreign tourists to this site is increasing year by year. Tourists, who visit this site annually, enjoy beautiful nature and crafts of district residents. The Executive body of state authority of the district with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and entrepreneurs reconstructed the road up to “Childukhtaron” and built a bridge there.
It should be noted that the folk crafts have been formed for centuries in Muminobod district, and passed from generation to generation. Thus, with the creation of conditions in this district, the routes were determined. Also souvenir selling shops and hotels will be built there for tourists. This initiative will undoubtedly promote an increase in the number of tourists.
