Round table dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was held in Bishkek
DUSHANBE, 13.01.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A roundtable entitled “Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan through the prism of good-neighborly relations” and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was held on January 12 in the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan by the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Bishkek.
According to the MFA Information Department, the event was attended by the representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, scientists, public figures, and the representatives of the Tajik community of Kyrgyzstan named after A. Rudaki.
Tajik Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Suhrob Olimzoda in his speech noted that good-neighborly and friendly relations with Kyrgyzstan, having centuries-old historical roots, always were and remain one of the priority areas of Tajikistan’s foreign policy.
Also, representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, scientists and public figures made a speech at the event.
