Tajik-Japanese ministerial political consultations held in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 26.01.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Tajik-Japanese ministerial political consultations were held on January 25 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the MFA Information Department, the delegation of the Tajik side was headed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nizomiddin Zohidi and the delegation of the Japanese side by the Ambassador-Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Central Asia Toshihiro Aiki.
During consultations that took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations between Tajikistan and Japan, as well as considered the ways of further development of interaction and cooperation in various fields on both bilateral and multilateral bases, in particular within the framework “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue.
Also, the parties discussed important issues of the international and regional situation, including in Afghanistan.
