75 new industrial enterprises created in Khatlon provinces in 2017
DUSHANBE, 09.02.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. In Khatlon province the great importance is being paid to the development of industry. There are being created new industrial enterprises and increased production.
As the regional correspondent of the NIAT “Khovar” reports citing the information and analytical department of the Executive body of the state authority of Khatlon province, the province industrial enterprises produced products worth 6.5 billion TJS in 2017. Compared to 2016 the production has been increased by 1.7 billion TJS.
According to the source, for this period, production of vegetable oil increased by 52%, flour — by 94%, cement — by 77.4%, bitumen — by 12.2%, clothing — by 25%, and jewelry — by 14.4 %. The production of reinforced concrete structures increased by 64 times, canned food – by 4.4 times, plastic metal products – by 5 times, yarn – by 3 times, and alabaster – by 62 times.
It is reported that 75 new industrial enterprises and workshops were created last year in province. As a result, 1,338 people are provided with jobs.
