Tajik Foreign Minister met with the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Afghanistan and Central Asia
DUSHANBE, 05.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On February 3, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov received the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) of State for Afghanistan and Central Asia Henry Ensher. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
According to the source, the parties discussed actual issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further development of mutually beneficial relations, including within the framework of international organizations.
The interlocutors also touched upon the issues of regional development and combating challenges and threats to security.
The meeting was also attended by the United States Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Kevin Covert.
