Tajik, Kuwaiti Red Crescent Societies to boost cooperation
DUSHANBE, 09.04.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Secretary General of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCS) Bahodur Qurboniyon held talks in the capital of the State of Kuwait – Al-Kuwait with his Kuwaiti counterpart, the Board Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Barjas Al-Barjas.
A statement by the Tajik RCS Information Department indicated that in the course of the talks, the sides, in particular, considered issues related to boosting cooperation in the field of humanitarian assistance and charity.
Healthcare, charitable donation, water and sanitation were the main subject’s agenda.
The MoU between the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society was signed following the meeting.
Bahodur Kurbinyon Bobojon underlined in particular the KRCS help for the Tajik people in aftermath of the 2015 earthquake, expressing appreciation for the Kuwaiti help for nations stricken with natural catastrophes.
