DUSHANBE, 30.05.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahim Qahharov on May 29 met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and his accompanying delegation, who are on a working visit in the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to the Office of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the meeting the parties had an exchange of views on issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the field of ensuring security of the parties, defense and military-technical, combating terrorism and extremism, as well as on other issues of regional security.

During the meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere and mutual understanding, the parties agreed on further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
