Foreign Minister of Tajikistan attended the meeting of the CSTO Foreign Ministers Council
DUSHANBE, 11.06.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin on June 11 attended the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
The Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member states discussed a wide range of topical problems of international and regional security, as well as exchanged views on current issues on the organization’s agenda at the present stage.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin in his speech noted the priority areas of Tajikistan within the CSTO and paid special attention to the complex situation that is developing with security in Afghanistan.
Following the meeting, a corresponding package of documents was signed, which will be submitted for consideration at the upcoming meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
