Water Friends Group discussed Dushanbe Water Summit’ result
DUSHANBE, 09.07.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations hosted a working breakfast meeting of the Group of Friends of Water on July 6 in New York.
A statement by the Tajik MFA Information Department indicated that the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Mahmadaminov provided detailed information on the implementation of the new initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon titled International Decade for action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”, and briefed the Group members on the outcome of the International Conference in Dushanbe on the Decade held on June 20-22, 2018.
The members of the Water Friends Group also discussed the global water agenda.
