DUSHANBE, 31.08.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On the eve of 27th anniversary of Independence Day, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented state decorations and honorary titles to the representatives of the Tajikistan scientists, workers of the spheres of education, healthcare and cultural figures, military servicemen and law enforcement personnel, workers, and businesspeople.

The state decorations and honorary titles of the Republic of Tajikistan are awarded for their special contribution to the development of science and culture, strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation among the peoples.

The decorations were presented at the Palace of the Nation.

In his opening remarks, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, sincerely congratulated esteemed laureates on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and on the state decorations, prizes and military (special) titles and ranks.

The Head of State stressed that due to the unity and solidarity of the Tajik people, we laid each brick with our own hands in order to build this state. We are making creative work for our children’s future.

It was stressed that the leadership of the state and the Government of the country welcomes all creative initiatives and willingly rewards the worthy ones, these awards are recognition of merit.

The President of the country spoke about the personal contribution of each employee being conferred the state award to the development of the country for the period of 27 years of independence and expressed the hope that the people will meet the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with even greater achievements.

By the Executive Orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Zarrintoj (Gold Crown) Order of 2nd class, the Order of Dusti (Friendship), the Order of Sharaf (Glory) 2nd Class, the honorary titles “People’s Artist of Tajikistan”, and the «Honored Worker of Science and Technique of Tajikistan «,» Honored Artist of Tajikistan «,» Honored Worker of Tajikistan «, Medal «Khizmati Shoista» (Meritorious Worker)», «Honorary Diploma of the Republic of Tajikistan», the Spitamen Order 2nd Class, Medal of Jasorat (Courage), medal of «Marzboni shujoi Tojikiston» ( «Brave Border Guard of Tajikistan») have been awarded to active employees.

The employees of military service and law enforcement personnel were awarded the next military (special) titles and ranks.

The 2018 Presidential Award in science and technology and National Award named after Abuali ibn Sino has been awarded to young scientists.

By the Executive Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali was awarded Zarrintoj (Gold Crown) Order of 2nd Class for his huge contribution and fruitful activity in the Executive body of state authority.

In conclusion the Leader of the Nation expressed his confidence that all the awardees will direct their efforts, experience and knowledge for the improvement of the country, strengthening peace and stability, will make a worthy contribution to the development of the country’s economy and other creative goals.
