Working trip of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon to Buston city of Sughd Region
On October 23, 2018, while on working trip to Sughd Region, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in a solemn ceremony inaugurated newly erected Flag Square in Buston city, where the flag flies on a 48m-high flagpole measuring 14 meters by 7 meters.
It was informed that the Flag Square occupies an area of 2 hectares, where favorable leisure and recreation conditions for the citizens were created.
Thirty benches and three fountains were installed as well as around the Park there is an area made of natural granite.
Around the flagpole there is a 4800-square-meter green area and a modern lighting system. Over 60 people worked to complete the Flag Square for two months.
The Flag Square was created in the framework of direct order and instructions of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon with the aim of honoring national values.
The head of state Emomali Rahmon reviewed the conditions created at the newly built park and gave a high assessment to the work done and set task to responsible persons for holding various cultural and entertainment events here.
In addition, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the opening ceremony of the building of Buston Tax Inspectorate, built with modern architectural style on an area of 16,500 square meters.
The three-storey building consists of a basement, includes 6 spacious offices, offices for individuals and legal entities, the accounting sector and the Amonatbank ticket office.
Construction work started in December 2017 and completed in October 2018. It fully meets the high standards of construction.
The second floor includes administrative offices, a meeting room, and the third — a conference room, advanced training rooms and a gym. In the basement there is a dining room and an archive.
After reviewing the center, the head of state met the local staff.
After that, in the administrative centre of Buston city, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon attended the reopening ceremony of Culture and Recreation Park named after Sadriddin Ayni after renovation.
President of our country Emomali Rahmon unveiled the monument to the founder of modern Tajik literature, the Hero of Tajikistan, Sadriddin Ayni, carved by Tajik sculptor Rustam Majidov.
The Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon planted a chestnut tree here.
It was informed that the Recreation Park occupies the area of 7 hectares. Construction work started in August of this year. Over 200 local residents worked to complete the facility.
It was reported that over 6 million somoni was spent to carry out quality work on the renovation and erection of a monument to Sadriddin Ayni. The Park was built with national architectural style.
The President was told that redevelopment work included construction of three fountains, an amphitheater with 300 seats, two cafeterias, a waterfall, and installation of 80 benches, as well as modern attractions.
Around the Park there is an 8.5 thousand square-meter area made of natural granite, a 30 thousand square-meter green area and a modern lighting system. The construction work was carried out in Park with the high standards of construction.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon toured the park, and highly appreciated the work carried out and gave valuable recommendations for the further development of this wonderful place of rest and leisure.
In addition, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited State Institution «National Garden — Vahdat» of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan during his trip to the Sughd Region.
Recall that the “National Garden — Vahdat” was opened by the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon on March 20, 2008, then apricot seedlings were planted on an area of 100 hectares.
The garden was laid out on 631 hectares, including apricots in 364 hectares, peach in 48 hectares, apple in 35 hectares, and cherry in 5 hectares, plum in 12 hectares and grapes in 10 hectares.
On the territory of the garden, the Head of State inspected two greenhouses for growing tomatoes and cucumbers in the area of 0.9 hectares. The head of state also learned about the harvesting process of grapes and garnet.
The head of state Emomali Rahmon also commissioned three new lakes with an area of 0.35 hectares on the territory of the “National Garden — Vahdat”. For the cultivation of various fish species, the development of fish farming and the promotion of environmental improvement, 15 thousand different fish species were released into the lakes, such as silver carp, carp and grass carp.
