Vladimir Putin: Russian-Tajikistani relations are developing rapidly in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance
Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the participants, organizers and guests of the VI inter-Parliamentary forum «Russia – Tajikistan: potential of interregional cooperation» and noted dynamic development of relations of Russia and Tajikistan, reported on the Kremlin website.
«Russian-Tajik relations are developing dynamically in the spirit of Alliance and strategic partnership. An important component of these relationships is the interaction that exists among the administrative entities of our countries,» — said in greeting.
Putin noted that the agenda includes urgent issues relating to the expansion of interregional ties in many areas. According to him, of particular importance becomes the problem of contacts in the humanitarian sphere, largely due to the growing interest of Tajik citizens to receive education in Russian.
The President said that in the framework of an interregional project more teachers from different areas and cities of the Russian Federation sent to work in educational institutions of Tajikistan.
He also expressed confidence that the parliamentarians of both countries hold constructive, substantive discussions on the issues of interregional cooperation, will identify new, promising forms of collaboration.
